What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
Approaching retirement after redundancy, untangling work and private pensions, transitioning to a post work state.
How has Adam Rideout helped you?
Provided forensic review of financial position - income, assets, outgoings. Provided template for good financial planning, annual expenditure estimates. Consolidated pension funds and set everything onto sound managed basis. Provided the assurance of a clear plan to end of life and removed all worries around any financial issues. Continues to monitor and mentor on the financial planning and to manage the funds.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes, absolutely.
What could they have done better?
I feel that the Expenditure Review tool (in excel) could do with updating, just to provide more relevant buckets.
