What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had a number of pensions that I wanted to amalgamate into 1 pension.

Abraham explained the process for transferring all of my pension pots to a single provider. He carried out all of the paperwork required to do this. He obtained quotes from a number of different providers and recommended a solution. A couple of the original pension providers delayed paying the money to the new pension provider which resulted in a slightly reduced pension. Abraham put in complaints to the two companies which led to me receiving compensation payments from them. He also got the new pension provider to backdate my pension payment so that I wasn’t too much out of pocket.

What could they have done better?

I can't think of anything that he could have done better. He was very flexible in his approach and came to my house on a Sunday to get forms signed and was even responsive to emails outside office hours.

We were retiring and needed help to buy annuities and to provide the best income for the future.
