My husband and I have recently purchased our first home and have a young child. We were interested in obtaining life insurance to make sure out child would be taken care of.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I have been with St James's Place or its predecessor organisations for more than 30 years and advised by James Scarlett for around the last 10 years. Our initial contact was as we re-arranged my mother's affairs as she sold her property and moved into a care home. Sadly she died earlier this year, so James has been extremely helpful in arranging the transfer of financial assets and the re-organisation of my own finances as a result.
