What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed advice on how to get the best from my various pensions and whether offers that were being made by pension advisors were worth accepting.

I have a good understanding of the financial markets but not the confidence to act upon my conclusions. Nick spent the time to work through my ideas and also gave me alternatives that maybe better but still kept me within comfort zone when it came to the risk levels. I never felt pressurised to make a decision and never felt I was being sold a product that he didn’t believe was right for me.

The outcomes have exceeded my expections.

What could they have done better?

I firmly believe the outcomes would have been even better if I had followed all of Nick’s advice but it was my lack of confidence and aversion to risk that stopped this from happening so no they could not have done any better with the restrictions I set.

We have a full review meeting at least annually and he always listens carefully and advises accordingly, consequently I am really pleased with my protection and pension arrangements and hope to seek investment advice from Nick when this becomes an area of financial planning that I am looking to explore.

Yes. Very happy that my protection arrangements remain suitable, which Nick ensures to review on a regular basis. My pension pot is doing really well and I am happy that it is invested appropriately to help meet my needs in retirement.

There is nothing that comes to mind.
