What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was looking into property investment and was introduced to Reece via a property webinar and enjoyed hearing his expertise and way of explaining. I took down his details at the end of the webinar and reached out.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had a collection of defined contribution schemes from various previous employments and wanted to (a) consolidate them; (b) get the right balance of portfolio better tailored to my long term needs. As I had recently started to work on a freelance basis, I also needed to understand how best to contribute to long term savings and pension investments.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Absolutely, although general market conditions outside anyone's control have stunted immediate growth. I expect to see real long term benefit and security from the steps we have taken.

How has Reece Brown helped you?

Reece initially performed a very thorough review of my existing position and investments, and quickly provided his consolidated investment recommendations. He then facilitated exit from my previous schemes and set-up of the new investments, including selection of the investment platform. He (patiently!) guided me through all the decisions and steps I needed to make. Reece has also advised me on how to make my investments as tax-efficient as possible, ensuring that I have been able to optimise the size and timing of my investments to make the most of allowances and reliefs.

I am a property related business owner looking to be able to take back control of my pension and utilise it to invest and get the best returns. I was looking for advice of how to invest my pension and what the best way to do it for me would be.

How has Reece Brown helped you?

Reece advised me that due to my circumstances a SSAS pension would suit me perfectly due to the fact that by contributing to my SSAS it reduces my corporation tax, but also I can control what I invest into within the parameters of HMRC. For me we spoke about commercial property being a good focus due to me having a lot of experience in the property space already.
