What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed advice re my various work pensions and how to properly look after my cash and investments as I was fast approaching 60yrs of age.

Yes, I have so far. This will be an ongoing process where I will be more than happy to take her advice. She was non-judgemental and empathic which allowed me to fully express my concerns for my future.

My wife and I are now both retired, and we had a mixture of occupational pensions, SIPPS, investments, cash savings, and a rental flat. We wanted a financial plan, which included all aspects of our finances, and is optimal for our circumstances and objectives. We also wanted reassurance that after so many years of saving money, it was now OK to spend it!

Specifically she: - Collected and reviewed all financial information - Carried out research and provided a full written plan - Conducted a face-to face meeting, to go through the plan, make any amendments and go through cash flow forecasting and modelling - Provided a full Suitability Report and plan taking into account our discussions, goals, aspirations and cash flow modelling - Went through the report with us to answer any questions and clarify anything that was not clear - Provided help and support implementing the recommendations e.g. fund switches - Provided follow up phone support to talk through any financial decisions

Absolutely. We have taken on board all of Sarah's recommendations and we both feel as if a great weight has been lifted off our shoulders!

I needed someone to advise whether I was investing my pension pots wisely and the best course of action to take with regards to it, the mortgage and savings. With regular meeting with Sarah I was confident that when I was making the decision about retirement it was with all the facts.

I have as I was confident to make the decision to retire recently. I was clear about my finances, that Sarah would manage them for me and that I could ask her anything, be it a question about now or the future.
