What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Our experience with financial advice goes back over 25yrs and the successors to my original contact and been meeting with Olly on a 6mth review basis for the past 16+yrs.

How has Oliver Phillips helped you?

He successfully transitioned us to to a financial pension when I retired some 23yrs ago as well as financial ISAs and moved us to the best platforms & funds available as they emerged and ensures that our various funds are regularly performing to market conditions. We have come to think of Olly as friend as well as our advisor

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Given to volatile markets in the past 4yrs we are happy that funds have continued to gain value even with maintaining the same level of drawdown.

What could they have done better?

That is hard to say without having the same knowledge of the markets and without taking greater risk profiles.

Oliver is superb. I have only been disappointed by the length of time his compliance department have taken on occasions to approve the advice he has given

I was able to retire early and despite Brexit and Covid my investments are performing well

What could they have done better?

Difficult question as I have nothing to compare Olly to. I can’t really think of anything in particular- I would like to have a better understanding of what affects the financial markets. Olly is more than happy to discuss this but maybe this could be a standard topic?

Oli came to our house at our request. Oli was recommended by a friend. He was professional from the off , arriving on time and allocating us plenty of time to answer questions and queries. Oli was totally supportive and listened to our questions re my parents estate, took away the issues, worked on gathering all the information and then fed back to us . Advice was given , time for us to think and then support action in some of the transactions.

Oli took on board a complicated mix of investments , pension plans and shares and helped us to see away through the complicated forest of all that this entailed. He helped us secure a safe future for my mothers future through the investment of an annuity and other financial advice which meant that her shares etc ere as safe as they could be

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

With out the annuity and the amalgamation of the estate it could have been a very different outlook for my mother.

What could they have done better?

Nothing, he was great. I always know that he is on the end of a phone and that I can call if I am worried re any financial changes .
