My family have a portfolio of investments with Forrester Boyd, I began dealing with them directly when these were invested in my name.

How has Phil Jones helped you?

He has taken the time to explain the intricacies of how the investment portfolio works. I had very little idea about the technicalities of the financial products and investments and Phil has patiently and thoroughly explained things to me so that I can make informed decisions and not be overwhelmed with technical language and documents that I don't understand.

Yes, I feel very confident my investments are thoroughly planned, monitored and adjusted as needed when either the market conditions change or my own personal financial circumstances change.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted help and guidance with my to ensure my investments were reaching their potential.

How has Phil Jones helped you?

Phil is an incredibly knowledgable advisor, but also completely approachable. I now know more about what is happening with my portfolio and as a result feel more in control of my finances. There are no stupid questions with Phil and he immediately puts me at ease no matter the issue.

Absolutely, in a volatile market we have had expert guidance and care ensuring that our investments are doing as well as they possibly can.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had a small number of workplace pensions in different places and wanted to combine these, along with ISA investments, in one place. I was also keen to receive qualified advice on future pensions savings in preparation for retirement. I was further wanting to review protection to ensure my young family are adequately provided for should something happen to me.

How has Phil Jones helped you?

Phil has reviewed my existing pensions and savings and advised me on brining these together in a more sophisticated and pro active pension fund where I can monitor performance on a regular basis. I also now have peace of mind knowing that my family are protected financially should something happen to me.

Initially in the 1990s I was looking to plan ahead for University fees for our three children. This develops into a comprehensive financial planning, which has been one of the best things I ever did for my family.

How has Phil Jones helped you?

Phil gives clear advice based on his thorough research of the issues in hand. He is always "on the ball", very approachable, and will always go over things again if one has not grasped them first time . He replies very promptly and always follows up. We would not want any other adviser.
