I needed a financial advisor based in the South of England, as I moved from Manchester, where my Financial Advisor was based. It wasn't practical to stay with him due to the distance. I was recommended to Josh, when I met him at the first meeting I was impressed with the level of detail he went into, modelling from information I had provided and then making the output simple to understand in both graph form and numbers format.

Provided options to invest my money in, based on my risk appetite. The advise was really good and the planning, with follow up meetings are regular to review any financial planning. Josh is also available for ad hoc advise, when I was looking for mortgage advise and options. So he has the range of financial options available to cover a wide variety of scenarios.

Investment Mortgages i.e. Buy To Let . Obviously then my home mortgage was also added. Gradually, Joshua also assisted with my Pension planning and some investments. Practically he offers all services very professionally and to my satisfaction with a nominal fee. I have personally recommended all my family and friends to get his advise and to the best of my knowledge at least 5 - 8 of them have used his services.

I was always too busy to commit to the amount of research needed to completely manage my savings without expert dedicated assistance. I was personally recommended to Malcolm Isaacs, the founder, who originally dealt with my affairs and handled everything with expert attention to detail even though, at that time, my investments were rather small. His expertise and advice complimented my hard work and together we built a substantial investment portfolio enough to fund a prosperous retirement Latterly Joshua has handled my account with the same level of service though his depth of knowledge and expertise seems even more impressive (sorry Malcolm)

I have recently retired with a very substantial pension fund accumulated following the assistance advice of The Orchard Practice. After “Lockdown” the Stock Market fell off a cliff and I braced myself for some serious losses on my pension funds. Instead, my funds increased whilst remaining in solid and sound investments ! Normally I never give Testimonials, but I feel The Orchard Practice deserve recognition for the dedicated service they have given I have been advised and assisted by them for over 35 years. As a self made businessman I have always tried to only employ the most effective professional advice. I selected Orchard from a personal recommendation, and I have never regretted appointing them. Their fees seem appear to be similar to others in their industry, but the performance is totally exceptional Whilst committing myself wholeheartedly to my own business I have always relied upon Orchard for efficient savings and pensions advice and management. I particularly appreciate the genuine personal service provided as I hate pressing combinations of buttons to get service only to end up talking to a stranger who knows nothing about me In a long active business career one makes some good decisions and some not so good decisions. I have wanted to post a positive review for the Orchard Practice Borehamwood for some months but have only got around to it now. Firstly I am not a huge financial investor just one of the thousands of ordinary people who need simple and trustworthy advice so that they can rest easy at night knowing that their hard earned money has been invested wisely and safely by a knowledgeable team of experts. Initially I was recommended to Joshua by a friend and he came to meet me personally to discuss his business and my requirements. Over the years I have come to know him well and I really have great belief in him and his very practical and common sense approach to investments and pensions. There have been a couple of turbulent financial events this year (Brexit and Covid) and I panicked at one stage and gave instructions to stop any payments into my pension. Josh took the time to telephone me and talk me through my concerns following which I had the confidence to re-instate my payments and I certainly am glad I did. There is also a regular newsletter published by Orchard Practice which gives really good advice / tips and guidance and I personally find very useful. But the most important attribute I think Josh has is he gets to know each individual investor and their personality and truly listens to them and as a result gives his advice based on a logical common sense approach.
