To ensure that as my wife and I got older we had one organisation and adviser that could provide us financial support over our all our financial investment and affairs.

James is one of the few financial advisors I have meet and dealt with, who has an excellent overall knowledge of financial and taxation issues. He advises not just on the products and services provided by St James but on our full financial situation and strategies.

Whilst not every year has been great, the returns over 12 years overall, from an investment point of view with St James, are solid and have not suffered from some of the extreme ups and downs that other providers have. The advise, support and service has been consistent and excellent.

I initially sought an advisor because my pension funds were not working hard enough and I could not be sure I was fully aware of the various implications of both personal and inheritance tax.

How has James Suttie helped you?

James has helped to plan my investment strategy to ensure a balance between available funds for short-term expenditure and the security of adequate funds for the future. He has enabled my funds to be considerably more productive and has added a wealth of knowledge and information regarding all aspects of potential taxation. In addition he is supporting my efforts to unpick some 'less than favourable' previous investments.

I have been more than satisfied with with the clarity of both my short-term and medium-term financial position and have experienced a clear increase in the value of my assets in the early stages of our working relationship.

At this point in the relationship I cannot identify anything that could have been improved upon - James has covered all aspects of my financial activity and maintained a high level of communication.
