To add expertise to and diversify our self managed portfolio.

Provided a lower risk diversified discretionary managed portfolio. Investing a Trust for the benefit of our grandchildren.

Maintained the value of the Trust in difficult investment market conditions.

Chosen a more competent offshore partner

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My partner and I were both nearing retirement and had various financial queries that we wanted answers for and advice on. For example how could/should we amalgamate several work/private pensions; did we have enough savings to enable us to live the way we wanted to in retirement; and how best to manage our personal savings.

George has helped us to make considered decisions with regard to our pensions and savings.. We have met him face-to-face, via Zoom meetings and via phone chats and email messages. He is always quick to respond to calls and questions and has managed the process of transferring personal pensions thus making it more streamlined for us to receive payments.

Improving work/life balance, starting to work part time, and using pension pot to supplement my income.

Yes. Work life balance has improved and still feeling comfortable financially.

I took retirement on 31st May 2022 and did not have a personal financial adviser.
