What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Have been with Flying Colours before it was called Flying Colours many years. Inherited some money and followed on from my Dad’s discovery of Arch Financial Planning which he found through visiting a solicitor when writing his will. Mother carried on with Arch after Dad’s passing.

How has Liviu Ratoi helped you?

Helped me over the years to reassess what financial position I am in life to hopefully make wise choices. The choices around risk factor levels he has explained to me in relation to what I feel comfortable taking. He has made me aware of an investment type which I did not know existed before which I will likely utilise later in life.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Over the years, yes. The last 6 ish years have seen the world change economically and politically at a much faster pace than I have seen in my lifetime so good financial advice has been very important. Liviu has advised me on making a few changes on how my investment(s) are run so they can then be run in a more cost effective manner.

What could they have done better?

Not sure really but to a person like myself who is not from a financial background pensions and crystallisation, etc I have found it a very complex subject to grasp.

I had an accountant but wanted advice on investment and general financial advice

He has been extremely helpful in giving me advice on a wide range of financial quests. He has always been very clear in explaing things, patient and understanding (often needed in my case!).

Certainly. I am very pleased with the result of Liviu's advice.
