What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
I had several pension pots that I wanted to get into one place and invested a view to retiring at 63.
How has Simon Wateridge helped you?
Simon understood my situation straight away and organised a smooth transfer and gave great advice on the best place for my pension pot to be invested. He was very pro active and always available if I had any queries.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes. I was able to hit my goal and retired at the end of May, a couple of months after I turned 63.

Coming up to retirement I was faced with complex choices, I did not fully understand.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
I had separate pension pots that required amalgamation and needed specialist advice as to how to proceed.
How has Simon Wateridge helped you?
Simon efficiently identified my attitude to financial risk and recommended the appropriate funds for investment. He encouraged me to put in place a lasting power of attorney (LPA) for finance. His advice on potential inheritance tax was invaluable.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Notwithstanding world events, the funds have generally performed well.
