What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Initially I needed help setting up a pension scheme for directors in our SME and met with Tori in her former role. As time passed my personal finances improved and I needed advice on savings and investments. I tracked down Tori at Officium and she been providing financial advice to my wife and I for the last 5 years or so.

In my case Tori has helped place money that was earning a paltry interest rate in bank savings accounts into vehicles that generate much better growth. More latterly she has helped me consolidate my pensions and advised me on the benefit of income drawdown in later life.

Yes. Over the long term both my savings and pensions are performing well under Tori's stewardship.

Slightly lower fees (tongue in cheek).

I wanted to understand my overall financial position, particularly in regard to whether I had sufficient cover for retirement. I wanted advice on how to manage my investments.

She created a number of financial plans to cover different scenarios - when could I retire, could I reduce my hours, whether my dependents were covered in the event of my death. She has advised on a balance of investments that match my risk and provides updates on their performance.

Yes, definitely. Tori was patient in adjusting the models to my many questions with the result of giving me confidence in my financial position and knowing that I have choices and opportunities in regard to how much I work / when I retire.

Not a lot. Tori is very approachable and clear in her explanations and advice

I turned 55 and was looking to both consolidate my numerous workplace pensions from the last 30 years and access the 25% tax free cash.

Tori helped me with the above - consolidating my pensions to a suitable platform until I retire and helping me to access my cash free tax lump sum..

Absolutely. She achieved my goal for me much more quickly than I could have hoped to achieve without her help. Tori exceeded my expectations and I have very much felt she had my back at ever step of the process.

Nothing - this was a perfect service. Where there were hold ups on the part of the pension providers Tori intervened to minimise the impact.

Not satisfied with previous advisor.

My investment cost has been reduced. My pension fund and other investments have been transferred to different providers. Advice has been given to other family members. Tori has always responded instantly to queries and requests for assistance.
