We were accruing a large amount of cash and needed help and advice about how to invest it in the most tax-efficient manner. Also we are approaching retirement age so need to plan for our future, again as tax efficiently as possible.

Our stocks and shares ISA investments are up and down as you would expect but, looking at the longer term, we are happy with how they are progressing. We have also benefitted from useful tax guidance provided by Ian relating to making best use of pension annual allowance carry-overs and receiving tax free payments from my parents' "income out of normal expenditure". Also reassurance as to where stand financially over the long term and how long we realistically need to continue working before we can enjoy our retirement.
