David Rodricks has given thorough, informative financial advice whilst all the time listening very carefully to my needs. Firstly arranging mortgages for myself and my partner on a new house purchase and then arranging a private pension set up for myself. His expert knowledge combined with his approachable manner have made us feel very comfortable and confident in understanding our options and, ultimately, the decisions we have taken regarding our financial planning and arrangements.

I originally wanted to take a tax free lump sum from my pension pot. David discussed all the various options with me in a way a normal person could understand. I feel his recommendations represent the best chances for me to be able to retire earlier or with a larger pot than if I had carried on with my original plan.

I found David to be friendly, helpful and authoritative. He comprehensively answered the questions and concerns I raised almost exclusively with regards to my pension provision and the advice he gave was pragmatic. I was afraid this initial discussion was going to turn into a sales pitch, but nothing could be further from the truth. Recommended and I am squirreling away David’s details for future use.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My pension with Aviva ran out at age 75 and had to be transferred elsewhere. The value had dropped considerably during the pandemic and I needed advice about a suitable transfer.

How has David Rodricks helped you?

He organised the pension transfer to OMW and explained everything clearly to me. He is currently also arranging withdrawal of a lump sum from the pension fund for me to use for home improvements etc.

How has David Rodricks helped you?

Well for our first meeting David came to my work which was very convenient as I usually finished late in the day. I had no knowledge of investments and pensions. He guided me after I'd filled in a risk assessment form into where to invest my pension, David has been my direct contact since then even though I moved from one end of the country to the other. He also helped me find a lapsed pension and get it into my pension pot

So far so good. A few years away from retirement so I beleive he has guided my in the right direction.
