I had had a really bad experience with DeVere, leading me to having lost substantial sums in investments due to mismanagement.

Pre Covid lock-down results were ok, since them major losses as markets reacted to the Covid lock-down. Losses appear to be rallying but won't be happy until back at the same level pre shut-down

I am not able to provide any advice on enhanced performance from my adviser unless he could have removed the losses suffered to my accounts. Tom has always appeared to be very open and honest when we have meetings to discuss financial matters.

Thomas initially managed the consolidation of various pension plans into a single SIPP. More recently he has been instrumental in the move of my SIPP from one wealth management platform to another.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

A successful short term business venture came to a close which left us with cash that we financial advice on how best to utilise now in order to plan for our future retirement.

How has Thomas Morgan helped you?

Thomas has assisted by putting a full financial investment plan on how best to invest the money based on our appetite for risk combined with our long term goals of early retirement. He has also assisted with consolidating a number of existing pensions into the investment portfolio so these can be fully managed by Tom going forward. Finally as our mortgage was up for renewal he has assisted in brokering a new fixed term deal for us.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The mortgage process is almost complete resulting in us fixing onto a longer term deal than we were previously on whilst reducing our monthly payments. The investments and pension management processes are still in there infancy but so far we are very happy with how everything is going.

What could they have done better?

At this point I can't think of anything Tom could have done better. He has taken us through all of our options in indepth detail. Ensuring that we are fully comfortable with all the options available to us. I look forward to seeing how the process continues on an ongoing basis.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was making arrangements to transfer out of a work pension fund and had put out a general online enquiry. Tom was the first to respond.

How has Thomas Morgan helped you?

Tom was extremely diligent in finding out exactly what my requirements were, and in following up the communications with with my employment pension fund managers. At all times he did exactly what he said he would do, and in a timely fashion. My 25% tax free draw down was delivered on time as promised.

Yes; I now feel in control of my own pension arrangements as far as the stock market will allow.
