What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed to plan better for my retirement and consolidate my assets so I would have a good pension. Following this, I inherited a large estate and needed further advice about how to manage the various elements of this estate.

Nicola has been amazing! She has taken me through every aspects of my financial planning step by step, always willing to explain things in simple terms so I know exactly what I am doing with my money. I have frequently been anxious about money matters and she is always there to keep me calm and reassure me, further explaining the decisions we have made together. When I have had ideas about my finances, some of which have been a bit pie in the sky, she has always been willing to listen and advise, always keeping me in the driving seat. I absolutely couldn't have planned my early retirement nor dealt with my mother's estate without Nicola's help and guidance.

Yes! Obviously markets are volatile, but I can absolutely see the outcomes of the decisions we have made, and when things haven't gone as well as expected, we have reviewed and made changes.

At the moment I have some time until retirement, so at the present time everything seems to be going in the right direction

Yes, I have. I am very pleased with the returns now that I am newly retired.

I do not see how Nicola could have been better, the world wide markets have been the factor affecting growth of investments recently.

It’s struggles depending on what’s happening to the markets but Nicola has managed to direct through different investments.

I myself don’t really understand all the various ways of investing my pension but Nicola, to me has done a good job at managing the pension in a difficult climate
