My previous FA retired.

My pension is up to date. Yes.

Nothing.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Having decided to take early retirement (or a career break!), and with a number of different pension schemes in place, I needed advice on whether my current schemes were my best options, and to establish my options for drawing down income from my defined contribution scheme. I was also planning to take some of my DC scheme as a tax free lump sum but needed to be flexible as my earnings going forward are difficult to predict! The government changes to pensions legislation threw in a few more variables as well!.

How has Tracey Evans helped you?

Tracey was a massive help in reviewing my pension arrangements, explaining the options for drawdown and coming up with recommendations for greatly improving my choice of investment funds. I learned more about the way that the new regulations worked and she came up with much better options for releasing income and tax free sums from my defined contribution scheme. She did a great job in challenging my initial plans and approach to investment risk, and came up with a better way of achieving the same goals. Critically, she did make a great job of explaining a complex situation very clearly.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

So far so good! Everything is panning out the way she predicted and I am delighted with the outcome. My situation is still fluid and I am currently in the process of starting up a new business. The way that Tracey advised me to structure my pension has been a massive help in what looks to be a significant period of volatile earnings!.

What could they have done better?

I honestly can't think of anything. I was tempted to say charge lower fees, as these always seem high when advisers spell them out. As Tracey did very clearly. But the reality is I think she has been great value for money and her frank advice over my previous choice of investment funds, in what has been a volatile stock market, has saved me many times what she has charged. All of the staff at Juno have been great - all are very helpful in efficient. So in summary, her service has been faultless for me.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Dissatisfied with the service I had been receiving from my bank.

Advised how she could help to reorganise my investments, with a more reasonable cost basis and a personal service.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Only six months has elapsed since the transfer, so too early to judge the performance of the revised portfolio.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Divorce and needed advice on investing a sum acquired from a pension share.

She made sure she knew what sort of risks I'd be comfortable with and will help me plan for the future by showing me how different financial options will allow me to live.
