What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Now in my 50’s one of my main priorities was to plan for my retirement. I needed professional financial advice and guidance in order to complete my goal.

How has Samuel Waterson helped you?

Sam has helped me enormously, the financial world is a complete minefield, however Sam seems to explain and breakdown the complicated jargon with ease to a more understandable language. Sam is very personable and puts you at ease at every appointment by building up a professional rapport.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Absolutely, retirement planning now doesn’t seem so scary.

What could they have done better?

Nothing, the service Sam provides is second to none.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

To withdraw 25% of the pension tax free

Samuel has been very helpful and flexible in making appointments

We were looking for impartial retirement advice having been disappointed by the lack of commitment of other financial advisors.

Sam has good control of his brief. He knows the business and has a sound ;understanding of pensions planning, taxation issues and overall financial planning.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

We will have to see if the financial outcomes are as hoped for. This will take a year to get the first indications. We were happy with teh pace and commitment from Sam so we were able to make the cahnges we wished in a timely way.

What could they have done better?

We didn't feel there was anything we would have asked to have done better.
