What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was buying a new apartment and needed to apply for a buy to let mortgage - it was particularly challenging given my status as a new contractor and also the fact that I was viewed as a portfolio landlord by most banks.

I was looking to buy my first house in the UK.

Josh helped me in every way possible to find the best mortgage deal out there to fit my circumstances. He would send me various illustrations, proposed different options, and kept in regular contact regarding my applications. He's also extremely responsive when it came to questions, and was always very helpful. He just made a relatively complex process feel so simple which is why I really believe him to be a great advisor.

Yes, I got my mortgage application approved and all went well !

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We are first time buyers , hence we needed a trustworthy adviser to assist in the purchase and also help us find the best product suited to our needs

How has Josh Webb helped you?

Josh is a very experienced and knowledgeable professional. He took the time to understand our mortgage needs and provided the best product for our situation and gave all apt options. He stood and supported us not just in “professional” capacity but as a “friend” and answered to all our silly questions and queries (as First time buyer ) and never hesitated to take our calls/texts even at odd times . Josh even assisted us with other services and processes that we were unaware of . Great communication along the way with clear advice and support from a qualified broker! Hopefully, my partner and I will be in a position to move forward in the purchase of our dream home thanks to your help and advice. I would anytime recommend Josh to anyone for a smooth service and a great individual to work with ! “5 stars” are way too less for his services.

Absolutely 100% . "Thanks" is a small word to express my gratitude. Josh understood our current situation and went out of way to support during the process.

What could they have done better?

Josh is near to perfection and I mean this when I say this. When we first met him , he was very friendly, approachable and instantly we felt that connect. My partner do not trust people easily and always look for that "personal" touch when it comes to services like this and with Josh , he felt that just after the first meet. He followed up with the Bank , I did not even have to remind him and kept us posted which gave us peace of mind as with Covid , bank was delaying on formal decision and as FTB we were apprehensive.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We were coming to the end of our 5 year fixed rate mortgage and wanted to sell our flat and buy a house. We therefore required a financial brooker to look and new rates and products as well as increasing our borrowing.

How has Josh Webb helped you?

Josh was fantastic from the start. He explained everything really well, answered all our endless questions and was really quick with his emails or calls. Josh helped us get the best rate product which worked for us and to allow us to find our next home. Josh was able to explain all the products, the rates, compare them all and give us break downs to monthly payments and how this can change if we went for a longer mortgage.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, we have seen our outcome as we are now in the process of buying our next home whilst selling our flat.

What could they have done better?

We honestly can’t think of anything, he was great all round.

I didn't want the burden of chasing round mortgage companies and knew that Josh would deliver a great service for me

Josh reviewed all of the mortgage offerings available and recommended the one that we ultimately went for. Whilst our application was more complex (due to various income streams) Josh guided us through the process and always looked out for any challenges that needed to be overcome

We needed more information on how to support our long term finances.

We were very impressed with how Josh and Bright Blue Wealth dealt with our situation. We were looking to set up a life insurance as well as receive information on pension support too. Josh was willing to drive just under 2 hours to come and visit us to give us support on both the above topics and we found him extremely helpful! As a result we decided to join Vitality Life Insurance and we are very happy with the choice we made. I would strongly recommend Bright Blue Wealth and Josh for any financial advice.
