As a retired widow and of limited means the savings I have need to see me through to end of life.

As I am investing long term I will hopefully weather the lows. It was a shock a few years ago to see my investment take a hit but as it seemed to be a global problem I hope to see a recovery in the next few years.

Nothing.

Needing to think through future financial needs, pensions and tax planning given sale of business and low contributions earlier in life

Helped map out plan to maximise pension contributions and balance income needs with tax requirements, whilst recognising our ethical concerns and risk appetite for investments.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes - though current ecoonomic situation impacting on short term value of invesmtents/pension - though given we are looking long term do not consider this an issue

What could they have done better?

Not much - does seem to be a lot of paperwork for each transaction, though recognise that may be due to regualtory requirments.

I had a small amount of money to invest and Peter was recommended through a friend.

I have been a client of Peter's for many years now and have been through many different circumstances, i.e. mortgage renewal, bereavement, insurance, pensions, investments. Peter has always been there and shown empathy, coupled with with balanced, sound advice

What could they have done better?

I do not feel he could have done anything better. He is at the end of the phone for me if I need him, but keeps me informed of anything relevant without feeling bombarded with information.
