How has Martyn Bailey helped you since your last review?

Since my last review my husband has been in hospital and discharged to palliative care with heart failure. Martyn visited very soon after that to help with planning, particularly with regard to my own future financial income, inheritance tax gifting, arranging for a cash flow analysis to be completed and arrangements for another visit to look at the implications and help us make decisions. He was also instrumental in assisting us with the implementation of my husband's Old Age Care Bond with the Prudential. He has really gone beyond the call of duty and we have always had complete trust in his knowledge and expertise throughout the many years he has been with us. Thank you.

I am elderly and Martyn Bailey has given me peace of mind regarding my financial situation at this stage of my life.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We wanted an approachable, friendly expert adviser to guide us through planning our retirement and managing our investments and pensions.

How has Martyn Bailey helped you?

He has used his knowledge and expertise to help us choose funds that match our risk profile and attitude to investing. These funds have delivered growth for us. He has helped us in managing our drawdown income and provided forecasts to indicate how to manage our finances in the years ahead. He is friendly and approachable and helps us to understand some of the jargon in financial planning. He listens as we explain our life goals and works with us to achieve them.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, we always know we can rely on Martin outside our annuals meet-ups to provide advice. Our funds are growing well and providing us with the income we need to fund our lifestyle. We are confident that looking toward to the future, we have a helping hand with our financial planning.
