I met Huw 5 years ago and although I wasn't in a position to work with him then, I remembered him. As soon as I needed advice, I dropped him a note and was able to make an appointment very easily. He was personable, interested and very understanding, he instantly set my mind at ease and gave me supportive advice. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I inherited money from my Dad and wanted to make sure it was lookked after properly

How has Huw Jones helped you?

He has from the beginning been very thorough. Ensuring he understood my goals, I have always felt I was an individual and he has always advised not "sold". He is always clear and very much believes in giving the whole picture ensuring that both the potential up and downsides are clearly understood.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Absolutely. Not only in terms of investment return. But in also terms of the knowledge that Huw is there to answer questions and provide support if and when needed through out the year.

What could they have done better?

Very little. Not moving further away to their new offices?

We have relied on Huw's advice for at jeast the last 15 years, and on his father's for many years before that.

Huw has helped us to plan for our retirements, investment planning and inheritance tax issues. We have always found Huw to be clear, tinely and jargon free in advising us.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Being a self employed sole trader and dealing with business financial matters, I found it particularly difficult to manage our family finances. Having been introduced to Proposito, this proved to be the best financial move we’ve ever made. Huw and the team have proven to be incredibly knowledgeable and helpful regarding all our finances, they we’re there also to support us with our retirement plans . We would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for help regarding any aspects of financial planning.

Huw and the team have taken away All the previous stress and worry we’ve experienced sorting out our family finances .

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Overall YES. From the start of our dealings with Proposito, Huw made it perfectly clear to us that financial planning is a long term investment. He also made it perfectly clear that during times of failing stock markets the last thing you do is decide to cash in in an attempt to reduce your losses …. We have stuck with it and over time our pension pot has certainly held firm.

Recent receipt of legacies. Also our financial arrangements were in a muddle as I had been trying to manage them myself in a very amateurish way

How has Huw Jones helped you?

I have developed a long and friendly relationship with Huw and his company. I have allways been able to "get my message across" and get a professional and flexible response. This has been of the utmost importance to me over the years as i have changed direction/agenda many times !! It is crucial to have an advisor that listens and one you can trust to make hugely important decisions, i am confident this is a sevice i receive.

What could they have done better?

It is difficult for me to say what could be done better. As i have faith in the advice given to me (if i was an expert i would not need avice) and i never have a problem getting hold of someone if i have a request/query, i really cant make any suggestion in this regard.
