Approaching retirement with a number of disparate pension schemes.

How has Dorothy Maxwell helped you?

Dorothy initially helped me consolidate various amounts and then advised me on the best ethical schemes to invest the sum.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I have seen the outcome I was hoping for, plus more.

What could they have done better?

Sometimes I got a little lost in the various technical descriptions. However, subsequent documentation largely made up for this.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

General advice needed and particularly critical illness cover.

How has Dorothy Maxwell helped you?

Over a period of many years Dorothy has guided us through the maze of pensions, investments and various insurance policies. Her advice has always been good. She has given us and explained fully all the options and she has never let us down.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Absolutely. We are now well into our senior years and living comfortably. I think we have much to thank Dorothy for.

What could they have done better?

Dorothy leaves no stones unturned. I cannot think of any instance when her information/advice has not been excellent.

I have only had a preliminary call with Dorothy but she was very informative and gave me what I considered to be a lot of time for no fee. I felt like she had a good grasp on my financial situation given the little time available to her to review the information provided to her.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had five different company/personal pensions and wanted to bring them all together to try and maximise benefits

Dorothy offered excellent advice and fully explained the pluses and miniuses of the various options that were available to me

Yes I have bearing in mind the economic world we are all living in at the moment
