We are still in the early years (<5) of our plan.

If possible, some sort of dummies guide for beginners to savings and pensions. I was completely new to this area and found it difficult to grasp the basic principles. This would promote better understanding and confidence when suggestions are being presented to us by our financial adviser.

I had been a client of another adviser at Neil's company for a few years. During this time I was earning a decent salary working abroad so had "spare" money each month. I wanted to retire early, and needed help to ensure I had sufficient savings. My original adviser was retiring and he recommended Neil.

How has Neil Padget helped you?

I moved across to Neil at the time that I retired. He has arranged for a monthly income from the portfolio that I have accumulated on the Cofunds platform. He has also moved savings into ISAs each year since I returned home and became a UK taxpayer again.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I am receiving an income from Cofunds, and I am also seeing the portfolio value continue to grow. This is exactly what I had hoped to achieve when I started. Neil makes recommendations for changes in my investments as he feels necessary, tI have always followed them and I am happy with the results.

Neil lifted a weight off my shoulders. He helped me to get my pension back on track. He listened to my needs and helped me to sort out the mess that my pension was in.

My pension is recovering from the recession. Neil's advise has been invaluable and I am in a much better place than I would have been if I had not had his help.
