Originally from the East Midlands, I settled on the Kent/East Sussex border with my wife and two children. I have an honours degree from the University of Aston and initially qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co. I then spent 25 years in relationship and client facing roles with Samuel Montagu, S.G. Warburg, and Investec Bank. I accepted an invitation to join St. James's Place in 2018, which enabled me to focus on providing personal, financial planning advice to clients. I leverage my past experience and, with a personal insight into the decisions my clients face, I help them make good financial choices. I offer my clients real insight and practical solutions as they plan for their future. Your home or other property may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested. An investment in equities does not provide the security of capital associated with a deposit account with a bank or building society. The levels and bases of taxation and reliefs from taxation can change at any time. The value of any tax relief depends on individual circumstances. Equity release is a lifetime mortgage or home reversion plan. To understand the features and risks associated with such products, please ask for a personalised illustration.
