What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Planning for retirement has been on my mind for a while, but with multiple jobs and various pension pots, I needed to bring everything together to get a clear picture of my financial future. I also wanted to understand what I needed to contribute between 55 and 60 to feel secure.

How has Andy Norrington helped you?

Over the past eight weeks, I had two in-depth sessions with Andy. He took the time to gather all the relevant financial details for both my spouse and me, considering our risk tolerance and investment preferences. What really stood out was how he helped my husband—who is naturally risk-averse and doesn’t enjoy talking about finances—become more open to exploring new options for the future. That in itself was a huge win! Even though I don’t quite buy into his tagline “Making pensions sexy”, I have to say—he made the process stress-free. I’d attempted this before but always found it overwhelming. With Andy’s guidance, I finally saw it through. On top of that, I received two bound booklets outlining everything we discussed, the steps we’re taking, and what’s coming next. It’s great to have something clear and structured to refer back to.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

For the first time, I feel confident about my future. The weight of uncertainty has lifted, and with a yearly check-in to stay on track, I know I’ve made the right decision.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I recently sold my business and wanted to ensure I invest my money wisely. Andy was recommended to my by my business support manager.

How has Andy Norrington helped you?

Andy has helped me immensely I was very uncertain and cautious about investing my money however after some time Andy gave me the reassurance and confidence in how I could invest my money. He is very transparent friendly and explains things in a non jargon way. Everything simplified. I am looking forward to continuing to not only watch my investment grow but also develop a trusting relationship with Andy. Overall he has been exceptional.

We are delighted so far with the advice and attention Andy Norrington has given us so far. Andy conducts himself in a highly professional manner and is extremely thorough in his fact-finding. Andy follows up on everything in writing quickly. We are husband and wife and needed financial guidance on finance planning and wealth management, we also wanted assurance that our child will be looked after in our demise. Andy set about putting together a number of suggestions to ensure all bases were covered, all with FSC assurances as is Andy. At every stage, Andy checked our understanding through all processes, removed the tedious setting up of accounts from us and managed the transfers with our authority. All in all, we received a thorough and smooth process.
