Keith carried out his annual visit, this is part of our financial planning. Keith had prepared an assessment of the growth of our investments and we went through the information verbally. Both written information and verbal information was presented in a manner that we could easily understand and to grasp concepts. Keith provided scenarios in relation to any requests to access funds and gave us advice as required. We are completely happy with the service Keith has provided to date. Keith remains professional throughout meeting but is friendly and my husband and I feel comfortable asking questions.

My husband and I both had private pensions and we needed advice and support to make decisions and access the finance.

Keith came to our home and. We explained our circumstances. He explained how he could help us and what needed to be done. Keith listened to our views and proposed an action plan. Keith remained in contact and carried out 2 more visits. Keith gave us advice and choices about how to use the money now and in the future. Set up a plan and spreadsheet . Keith invested the money for us and explained how we could use drawdown to access what we needed.

Absolutely, it was a minefield for both of us. Keith explained and gave us choices throughout the process. We could not have managed this situation by ourselves.

Although geographically we are 300 miles apart Keith is only a phone call away. I needed some advice in relation to a disabled relative’s finances. Keith listened to the problems and advised clearly how I should proceed protecting myself and the relative legally. The advice relieved a stressful situation.

I had an opportunity to retire early and I wanted advice as to best use the money I had available and to help double check my own calculations.

Keith promptly understood my situation and was good as asking me what I wanted to do, not how much money I wanted to make. He then gave me options and provided information, guidance as to how I could choose which option would be best for me. There was no hard sell, no you should do, but rather a clear explanation of the upsides and downsides of various options.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I retired from work a few years earlier than I had planned to do so and I wasn't sure if my savings and pension products would meet my longer-term future needs.

How has Keith Roseburgh helped you?

Keith helped me by setting out a comprehensive budget for my current and future living costs and challenging some of my assumptions where I might have been trying to 'cut some corners'. He further reviewed my pension products and made recommendations to move these to a new pension fund manager. Part of this process included Keith prompting (again through professional yet amiable challenge) to really think about my approach to risk and striking a balance between risk and the meeting of my future expectations. I agreed with Keith's recommendation to move my pension products and he managed this for me in a seamless manner. Keith further made the case for me to begin drawing down an income from my pension product in a tax efficient manner.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Whilst still relatively early days, I'd say that Keith's services have helped me achieve some peace of mind and in doing so contributed to my well-being. The performance of my pension products (for which I now pay considerably less in fees) have thus far positively exceeded the original assumptions.
