A desire to understand my pension position and what my retirement options might look like.

Rachel has provided several projections based on different retirement scenarios, and this has helped me to narrow down what I can and cannot do. Ultimately this has set me on a path to early retirement with the knowledge I can afford these choices.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Not quite yet, but I do expect to see it within a few months.

Nothing.

My wife and I are both retired and needed advice on many aspects of financial planning and investment.

How has Rachel Denham helped you?

Rachel is friendly, down to earth and approachable, whilst also being experienced and professional. She has helped and advised in areas other than direct investment and financial planning, like Lasting Power of Attorney and tax liabilities.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, so far, as it’s early days. Rachel has taken over from our previous advisor who has taken retirement. As a result, we have currently only met once to review our position and needs. That said, I found Rachel to be very knowledgeable, helpful and approachable going forward.

Neglect to my pensions and what is the status and how can I make them more effective and easier to manage

Identified my current status and lifestyle. Provided due diligence on my pensions held, communicated and collated to identify current holdings. Identified pension / investment opportunities and co-ordinated the completion. In addition, looked at my personnel retirement plans and was able to calculate years ahead to provide guidance and options in the future

My aims were realised and achieved.

What could they have done better?

Cant think of anything further that wasn't brought up or recommended by Rachel

Existing High pension costs, combined with poor performance

Taking on and doing the work to gather information to present a case, to propose changes for investment.

Yes Rachael was instrumental in achieving the required result.

What could they have done better?

'Nothing' as Rachael superseded my expectations.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We were clients of financial adviser Tony Green who retired and recommended Rachel Denham to us. Rachel came to see us last year and quickly went through things assuring us she was there for us whenever we needed her. We haven't had a long term partnership, but what we have seen so far, we believe Rachel will be doing her best for us.

How has Rachel Denham helped you?

She has taken on our finances from Tony Green and keeps in regular contact via newsletters. Over the forthcoming years I am sure we'll have more to say.

At the moment nothing, they have picked up our financial situations from our previous financial adviser. It is too early to comment further.
