Consolidation of a number of pension funds and wanting to get things in the best state for future retirement planning. We were also assisted on a separate matter with a life insurance policy.

Pensions can be quite a complicated subject for the non-pension savvy like us, but Callum explained things in a way that was easy to understand without being patronising and checked in at various junctures in the process to ensure we understood . He asked questions to clarify his understanding of our situation and made recommendations based on the options available to us.

At risk of sounding trite, we don’t think there is anything up to now that could have been done any better. We have always felt in knowledgeable and capable hands.

An increase in income meant I was looking to invest. With little knowledge of the market, I wanted an adviser to help me understand how investing worked and do it in a more logical and sensible way.

Callum explained everything in great depth in an easy to understand way. He showed me graphs and documents to aid my understanding, helping m come to the decision of how much to invest and at what risk level I was wanting to take.

I have spoke to Callum on numerous occasions for a variety of reasons, i.e. to discuss my financial plans following retirement, to renegotiate the mortgages on our property portfolio and to seek advice and guidance with y son regarding his pension.

Been with Callum for many yrs so no reason to seek advice anywhere else..

Callum helped me to understand my pension better, but importantly what it actually meant. We worked together with some software to map out the rest of my life to see what age I could retire and whether I would run out of money. Now I know I can retire earlier than I initially thought, if I wanted to, and feel much better about my situation.
