I have worked in the financial services industry for over 17 years. I previously worked as a stockbroker and financial adviser with a UK based American company and I joined HJP back in 2010. My advice covers all areas of wealth management but I am particularly interested in investment planning and helping clients look at their options pre and post-retirement and mitigating the impact of Inheritance Tax. Importantly I try and explain things in English, rather than confusing people with jargon, and where possible I use everyday examples to help clients understand a particular concept or approach. I hold the Diploma in Financial Planning and I also hold CF8 which is a specialised Long Term Care qualification meaning I can help people, usually the relatives of clients, with the cost of Care/Nursing Home fees. I am also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Personal Finance Society. I have been a member of Cranleigh & District Lions Club for over 28 years where I am particularly involved with the organisation of the annual Bonfire and Fireworks celebrations and head up their Project Wenceslas - redistributing the Winter Fuel Payment to help those with fuel debts. I am proud to say I have completed the London Marathon four times, most recently in 2023, and raised over £13,000 for charity in the process. I live in Ewhurst with my wife and our dog, Sparky.
