In 2015 I had just started to receive my state pension and needed advice on what to do with my private pension pots which were spread across three different companies.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

The need to review my pension position and take appropriate corrective action to ensure that my future financial needs are met.

How has Paul Clifford helped you?

Paul reviewed my existing pension position, made recommendations regarding appropriate changes, undertook the transfer of my various pensions to the new pension provider and invested the sums transferred on my behalf in order to match the risk profile I decided was appropriate for me. After that, he is helping me to decide on an a suitable investment structure for some spare cash that I have, and will implement the investment plan we decide upon. He is also starting income draw down from my pension in accordance with the financial plan we have discussed and agreed.

Yes, things have gone exactly as I had hoped.

What could they have done better?

In real world terms, I think things were handled pretty much as well as they could have been.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My wife and I having Pensions pots accrued over a lifetime of working and not performing in quite a lot of cases, so needed to take advice as to best way of keeping a track of these investments and moving into single pension plans that performed and were also felixible

Initially gave us advice as to how we could move these pensions into single schemes and then actually carried out all the transfers for us. Since moving schemes we have been kept up to date as to how they are performing and also giving us further advice for Will planning and financial planning for our retirement

We now have plans we can see at a glance how they are performing. Paul has also monitored on our behalf and recommended moving portions of funds into different schemes within the same funds as world events affect funds. Certainly the schemes we are now in are out performing our old investments
