I am a Chartered Financial Planner and Senior Manager at AAB Wealth, one of the UK's leading independent financial planning firms. Although we have offices across the UK, I am mainly based in the Edinburgh office, my home city. If you see me out and about, feel free to say hello and introduce yourself! We provide independent financial advice - mainly to private individuals - using a holistic approach that will consider such matters as: - Private Pensions - Tax optimisation/tax planning (i.e. minimising income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax). - Investment management - using a sensible, evidence-based, low-cost approach. - Retirement strategy - considering the strategy for each of your assets and how they interact with each other. - Modelling/stress testing - visualising the strategy (all of your assets, income streams and liabilities) using software to enable us to have in-depth discussions re your scope to retire and expenditure limits, make gifts to your loved ones and those 'what if' scenarios. This also enables us to determine the level of investment risk/and sum to invest that is appropriate for your circumstances. - Estate planning - considering how your wealth will pass on to your loved ones after your death. Initial consultations, can be held by phone, in person, or via Microsoft Teams, and involve no commitment or expense for you. We only work with clients with whom we can truly add value and have strong, close and long-term relationships. Our service involves no tie-in periods, so you can easily cancel if required. But our aim is to impress by saving you money, making you money, saving you time and giving you peace of mind, so that you can live life to the full without being concerned about money.
