What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
Better financial planning and professional guidance to ensure that I got the most out of my ISA and pension planning.
How has Katrina Bruce helped you?
Katrina has been exceptional. She always deals with things in a timely manner and her guidance is done in a manner which is easy to understand. I particularly enjoyed our recent annual review which was well planned with great clarity. It is also good to have one point of contact who understands your needs.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes, I believe so.
What could they have done better?
In the annual review it would have been helpful to see how the figures are reflected taking into account my children and allocating budget / funds to help them throughout their years. The review tended to focus on funds available for myself and my wife. However, given children hopefully going to university/further education and wanting to try and give them the best start in life it would be good to see how funds could be allocated to this throughout retirements and over the years too. Having said that I should have made this clear in the pre-review documents that I would like this discussed which I didn't.
