What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Having had the opportunity to take early retirement by selling my company shares, I needed to find someone to advise me on how to make my money work for me, as I was no longer working.

How has Ray Martin helped you?

By coming up with a financial plan which is reviewed regularly, detailing how my money will work, explaining financial milestones, taking all aspects into account early active retirement years and generally removing the worry of trying to do it by yourself.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, absolutely. We have been able to assist our 3 children get onto the property ladder during our lifetime, buy the car I had always dreamed of as a youngster and to know that it is all accounted for in the financial plan going forwards.

What could they have done better?

Not a lot really that I can think of.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

When I was made redundant I found myself with a sum of cash I had no idea what to do with and really needed some professional advice on what to do with the money. I knew I had to make the money work for me and provide for my retirement and late life. However it was a question of who do I entrust with my money after all you hear lots of horror stories of investment going wrong. Then one day we were walking in Ewell park and I saw a sign advertising Four Seasons Financial Services stating a free consultation and decided to take down the details and on returning home look the company up online after reading Ray Martin's profile decided to call and make an appointment for me and my husband and honestly we have never looked back.

From our very first meeting Ray has helped me and my husband in many ways not only in his open and truthful manor but in his ability to put me at easy and overcoming my anxiety about money maters. I have always been apprehensive where money is concerned and invariably felt the need to have money in the bank for a rainy day, so the thought of parting with my safety net was very daunting but Ray took the time to explain everything, I have never felt like I was being manipulated into doing anything I was not one hundred percent happy with. Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

In short "Yes" in the 8 years Ray has been our financial adviser we have seen our investments grow and feel confident that our long term goals for retirement are on track. As an advisor I trust Ray 100% he is very knowledgeable in how the financial world works. I know Ray has a living to make but I genuinely feel he puts his clients interests first like advising us to stay put and wait out recent economy storms. .

What could they have done better?

Whilst writing this review I can genuinely say I can not think of anything Ray or Four Seasons Financial Services team could do any better. Whenever you call the phones are answered promptly everyone is polite, courteous and happy to help no matter how silly the question may seem. I have never felt the need to complain as the staff take time to listen to what you are saying unlike other companies I have dealt with who do not want to help sort out any problems. Whatever your doing Ray keep up the good work.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Initially, we wasn’t looking for a financial advisor but we saw an advertisement outside the office so decided to book a meeting. We met and instantly liked him. You could tell that he was very approachable and genuinely interested in you as a person/ couple and he wasn’t driven by what he could get from you. Over the years, he’s virtually become a part of the family and there’s no way that I’m going to let anyone else deal with my financial security.

How has Ray Martin helped you?

He and the team have given us great confidence and even when things have turned upside down in the financial market we have had total confidence in him, never doubting his ability to steer us through stormy waters.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes we have. We are now totally financially independent and we’re ready to take the leap into retirement, knowing full well that we are safe in our future years.

What could they have done better?

In my opinion, absolutely nothing. I am not a financial expert by any means but we feel totally confident with Ray and strongly advise you to seek him out if you need financial advice. You won’t regret it!
