What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted a better return on my capital and someone to take the burden of all the research and administration time required with all the varied investments. Also, I wanted advice on retirement planning and someone to advise whether I have enough money to retire.

He has completely taken responsibility for management of all my financial affairs and whilst this has resulted in a better return the main benefit for me was the time it has saved me and I don't have to worry about anything - Ray does it all. Ray takes the time to get to know you so he understands your needs, appetite for risk and what your overall goal is. His analogies put everything into terms I can relate to and I always come away from our meetings having understood the plan.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

In a word yes. As above he has relieved me of the burden of managing my investments but ultimately I am in a position where I can retire significantly earlier than I had always thought and this time is priceless.

What could they have done better?

I am not familiar with the financial world and I do not have experience of similar services to compare so I am not usre if there is anything as he has always done exactly what he said he would with minimal fuss.

Retired early with lump sum pension and redundancy package and needed financial advice to create a strategy to maintain an income level through my retirement years.

Created a financial plan for retirement, selected & recommended investments to support the plan.

Yes, the plan has been created and we have been executing against that plan for the past 2-years. The plan is reviewed annually together with my own objectives, current circumstances and any changes in my needs.

At this stage I cannot think of anything that could have been better.
