What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
Having paid nursing home fees for three years in respect of my Husband who had been suffering a degenerative disease for a number of years reducing my savings. I decided to use Equity release to finance work needed to bring my home back up standard.
How has John Symonds helped you?
John found a suitable company to provide a lifetime mortgage despite a few unexpected problems on the way.

We were looking for an advisor to guide us through the equity release process.
How has John Symonds helped you?
John was amazing. Always got back to me as soon as he could with answers to the multitude of questions I posed. Offered to intercede with surveyors and mortgage providers on our behalf if we needed him to. Impressed our solicitor with the speed and comprehensive understanding of our particular case. I always felt he was on our side in a process that can be confusing and worrying if your don't have a good guide and John was excellent.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Despite a few hiccoughs on the way we sorted our equity release in a speedy and satisfactory style.
What could they have done better?
I cannot fault John and his advice so I have no criticisms.
