I had went self employed recently and realised I needed to set up a pension and income protection for obvious reasons and luckily I found Andrew! I’m an accountant myself so I know my stuff in regard to the tax side of things but with pensions and income protection I had no clue in and I am forever grateful.

I can’t think of a way that Andrew hasn’t helped me! My pension and insurance is all sorted!

We needed advice regarding dissolving a non standard trust bond. Also, we required and continue to require advice regarding inheritance planning for our daughters.

Andrew has facilitated the conclusion of the non standard trust bond and the release of inheritance to our daughters. He also helped us by arranging excellent and quick legal professionals here in Scotland as the trust bond was drawn up in England and the lawyers there were not very helpful.

I was made redundant in 2016, and having been raised to always look after your future, I knew that I needed to get my existing pensions in order and start something new as I started self-employment.

How has Andrew Conway helped you?

Andrew is entirely professional in all his business dealings with me, which I appreciate. This doesn't mean that every encounter is cold and bullet-pointed, but rather that he is friendly and approachable, always willing to help be it face to face, phone or email; very knowledgable in his field and up to date with his information about your pensions. Discussing varying risk levels at the time, Andrew always stated and provided the 'calculated risk' for any options and made sure that to the best of his knowledge that I wasn't in any danger.

It's too early to say on the return on my pensions, however the smoothness and speed at the transfer of my pensions into one place is to be very highly commended.

Approaching retirement age I had been considering for a while what to do with my pension and investment portfolio especially in regards to IHT.

How has Andrew Conway helped you?

Andrew was very helpful in his advice regarding in which direction I should consider taking regarding my portfolio and protection of my income that I hadn't considered necessary. Furthermore the questions I had for Andrew were always answered promptly and without any bias towards specific products which I greatly appreciated. I recently received a large inheritance and wanted to plan for my future.

How has Andrew Conway helped you?

Andrew spent hours going through my needs, expectations and situation to understand exactly what my requirements were. We then developed a suitable plan, including transferring my various workplace pensions into one easily manageable scheme, giving me a much better understanding of what pension investments I needed to make to ensure I had a good level of income post-retirement.
