About

I have worked in financial services since 2004, having become independent in 2009 after working in administrative and trainee roles with Santander and Aviva, before progressing to a more client-focused position with Co-operative Insurance. My role as a financial planner involves working collaboratively with individuals and businesses to ensure that they are making the most of their money. The best advice can only be offered after investing time to get to know individual circumstances. Typically this might take two or three meetings or conversations, after which I can begin the process of drawing up a financial plan. My focus is on explaining the options available and ensuring that my clients make their financial decisions from a fully informed point of view, always with a focus towards their overall goals. I hold specialist qualifications in pension planning. I am also a qualified Willwriter and can assist with various aspects of estate planning which go hand-in-hand with financial planning. I have found that in the past, these additional services have drawn clients to me. I pride myself on providing the highest possible level of service to my clients, and gain great satisfaction from seeing people's plans coming to fruition over time. Away from the office, I enjoy walking, swimming, cycling and travel. My weekends are generally spent with my wife and two young children. I am involved in my daughter's primary school parent council.
