What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

A need to overhaul our pensions and investment management as we enter the final stages of our careers.

How has Ross Butters helped you?

Ross helped us to restructure our then fragmented pensions and investments and helped us to understand the retirement planning we required. He also keeps everything under constant review, responding to market conditions and investment performance and he keeps us regularly and meaningfully informed. He is very responsive to any questions we have, getting back to us very quickly.

Yes.

Ross has been advising me for well over 20 years since he was introcdied to via the firm i was working for at the time.

Our annuity income and other funds are comfortably meeting our needs while our funds continue to grow.

3/4 of working life spent in self-employment with no company pension necessitated best independent pension advice.

How has Ross Butters helped you?

Took over from prior IFA, and provided considerably improved quality of investment advice over many years, including switch of existing pension schemes with traditional insurance companies to consistently successful SIPP. Particularly good at constructively discussing my own proposals for specific investments which differed from his own recommendations (most acted upon happily successful); and proactive in alerting me to potential tax and related legislative changes.

Yes.

What could they have done better?

In some years, more regular alerts: but even then when still employed would have been questionable if I'd have responded sufficiently quickly.
