With over 28 years of financial services experience, I provide bespoke wealth management advice to individuals, businesses and Trusts. My advice is tailored to meet your personal, lifestyle and planning objectives. Based in Harpenden, James provides wealth management advice and services to clients from a broad range of backgrounds. After graduating from the University of Bath with an Economics degree in 1994, James started his career in financial services with Canada Life. He subsequently joined the Royal Bank of Scotland as a financial adviser in 1995. James was actively involved in the product proposition for RBS as part of the RBS & NatWest integration in early 2000. Thereafter, James moved into a Private Banking Advice role based at Child & Co (Fleet Street) and Drummonds (Trafalgar Square). In 2006 James was promoted to a Senior Private Banking Manager and was based at the prestigious Threadneedle Street office. In 2012 James joined Coutts as a Wealth Manager. He was part of a small team based at the Eton Office in Berkshire looking after the financial needs of a portfolio of clients. James has been running his own Practice in Harpenden for 7 years, which is a Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management. Outside of business, James is married to Niki and they have two teenage sons, Samuel and Oliver. In his spare time James is a member of a Rock Band, "Sunnyside Up", and tries to play golf, when time permits. He is also the Treasurer of the Harpenden Lions Club, which raises money throughout the year for a number of local and international causes.
