What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had numerous private pensions which needed to be consolidated

How has Sean Guirey helped you?

He's pulled all my pensions together and invested them in funds which generally over perform compared to the market. He also invested some funds into a stocks ISA for me and continues to monitor its performance. Further to that he will annually review my financial affairs and make recommendations to meet my long term goals.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Returns have been below expectations the last couple of years due to turbulent markets, however I am satisfied that my funds will perform over the long term.

Sean has been an advisor for me since I first moved to the UK in 1991. Back then I had no knowledge of the UK system and processes, so was looking for somebody to help me. Sean was recommended to me.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We wanted to make sure that when we wanted to retire we would be able to live as comfortably as possible. At the time we first looked for an advisor we were both working full time and had savings in different places but we didn't really have a cohesive strategy and so it seemed prudent to use a professional to help us pull everything together. Sean was recommended by friends as someone who was easy to work with and professional.

Sean has helped to relocate a pension that we had and set up a managed portfolio for our savings. He has provided clear forecasts of what we can expect and communicates those effectively.
