I was a director of my own limited company and had used Equitable Life for my pension planning. When they (Equitable Life) effectively closed their doors to further investments I looked elsewhere I decided on George Delaney.

How has George Delaney helped you?

He helped me coordinate all my pension funds and guided me through the process of finding a fund manager. We set targets which we continually met and the results have been amazing despite the impact of Covid. We have met regularly over many years and George was always really flexible on when and where we met. His advice and support has been first class.

Absolutely I have. Having now met my final pension fund targets I am retired with a very secure financial future. I will of course be managing my fund point forward with George's assistance.

George made me feel comfortable with the process explaining what would happen and when and presented my options in ways that made sense to me. The advice was clear, concise and informative. Since inception George has consistently advised me on how to make the best from my investments but takes the time to listen to my views. George continues to help, when asked, explaining market volatility and his solid guidance make me confident I will have sufficient funds for my retirement and a legacy for my family.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I continue to have meetings twice a year in which my expectations are managed and my needs assessed. Nothing is guaranteed but I am seeing a reasonable return on my portfolio investments after 5 years, all accrued by following George's advice and guidance. I understand I might have made higher returns if I had accepted more risky investments but my returns are still good so yes, at this stage the outcome is what I had hoped for.

What could they have done better?

There are several services that George offered and I elected not to have a micro-managed portfolio.
