On the death of my husband in 2000, it seemed sensible to amalgamate our financial affairs. As this coincided with the retirement of my current financial adviser, I sought advice from good friends who immediately recommended Metis.

Nothing. (Oh yes - I think Mike did say at the outset that he might sometimes visit the Oxford area. It would be nice to meet in person should he ever do so.)

I had a reasonable amount of disposal income but it wasn’t being invested efficiently. I was also unhappy with the performance of my pension prior to engaging with Mike.

Mike has vastly improved the growth and visibility of my investments, whilst also ensuring they are diversified and as tax efficient as possible. Mike has also been a great person to have on hand to bounce ideas and general finance related queries off.

As a ‘Deputy’ for my brothers financial affairs I had got to a point where I needed to transfer his Pension and other monies, in his best interests. I was recommended Michael Smits by a friend.

At this point in time I don’t think Michael could do better. I trust him to take the best decisions on my behalf.
