Due to a change in my circumstances, I was keen to review my finances to ensure I was being as tax efficient as possible whilst also planning for the future.

Zoe has really helped me take an objective look at my finances. Zoe offered advice to make my money work harder for me whilst taking into account my personal finance goals and situation. Zoe broke everything down into manageable, clear to understand chunks which made making decisions much easier!

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was doing a health check on my pensions and financial planning for retirement. After recently starting a new job and having a different pension I needed to check that my pensions were in the right place and that they were working for me in preparation for retirement. My contract with work also did not provide security for me so I needed to find the best way to protect myself.

Zoe was great in helping to map out the future and what I wanted to aim for in retirement. She did a detailed look into all my pensions and what they provided. Zoe gave detailed advice on what to do with each of them. Zoe also helped in finding income protection and critical illness cover for me.

I have the income protection insurance and the critical illness cover. My Pension has been moved over.

What could they have done better?

We could have had more time for our meetings together to discuss certain aspects in more detail. As I felt we had a lot to get through in the initial meetings and were short on time. The service from Zoe was really thorough and informative.
