I had some money I wanted to consolidate. Wanted to make sure I was investing/managing in the best way

Charlie has helped me with the above. I have consolidated my investments and he has given me advice how to make the most of my savings which is reassuring and gives me peace of mind. I feel I don’t need to think about them as they are well managed.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Myself and my husband were each looking to setup an ISA and my parents were working with Charlie already to setup a JISA for our daughter. We had used a financial advisor before, but he had recently changed roles.

Charlie has setup an ISA each for me and my husband, a JISA on behalf of my parents for my daughter and is now working with us to plan for retirement and to consolidate and move our pensions over to St James's Place.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. Charlie is so easy to talk to, takes his time to explain everything in detail (and repeat it!) and we've made lots of progress already with our financial planning. We are both only in our 30s and have found his advise invaluable when thinking about our families future. I would recommend Charlie to anybody.

During our initial meeting, Charlie took the time to understand what I want to achieve—from starting to invest to buying a home in the not too distant futures and UK pension schemes for a little old kiwi like me. He broke down the financial concepts into easy-to-understand terms, which made everything feel way less intimidating and I left feeling really confident both in how I’m going to achieve my goals but that Charlie is the right adviser for me.
