What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Back in +/-2010 I had a need to receive better financial advice and assistance with retirement planning and pensions. Through a trusted friend (also an experienced financial man) who was 20yrs my senior I was introduced to Sam Whybrow. Since then I have been a client of Sam for about 15 yrs, as he progressed through two companies before becoming Independant.

How has Sam Whybrow helped you?

Sam arranged cost effective and more suitable insurances for me as I approached retirement in my last 5 yrs consulting. He also helped me re-organise my pension portfolio’s and investment capital to be tax efficient, secure and most importantly safely invested.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

After 11 years of retirement I am well placed, securely invested and comfortably positioned to enjoy my ongoing retirement. My wife and I have no anxiety or worries regarding our financial future. This is after many key disabling events making future predictions much harder in a turbulent market. Financial upheavals, Covid, Tory Leadership, Brexit, Middle East Conflicts and the Russia/Ukraine war. Sam has guided us with care and expertise through all this and we still remain secure and comfortably retired. Thank you.

To be honest and quite blunt, nothing to change.

I met Sam through a mutual friend who also uses him

With pension transfer from defined benefit to Sipp and on annuities and financial planning. We have touched on inheritance tax planning and insurance he administers my pension with A J Bell and I am pleased with his track record.
