Having experienced indifferent advice from my bank and, to a degree, building society, our savings over many years plus an inheritance deserved better.

How has Tom Saleh helped you?

Tom has continued the positive, friendly approach of his predecessors and gives straight forward non jargon information on our existing investments keeping us abreast of opportunities available.

What could they have done better?

I'm not certain that this can be quantified. There have been so many "one offs" affecting finances of late such as pandemics and mismanagement by government that keeping our investments stable at best but increasing value can only be good.

Tom was very patient, explained matters regarding pension queries in way that was understandable to a lay person. The slides that he had taken the time to prepare were easy to follow and understand. Tom answered all queries and questions in well and made sure that he had been understood before moving on. Would definitely recommend Tom to anyone that was needing help to understand their pensions from the amount you are putting in to when, how and what options are available as and when retirement age is reached..

Self employed mid 50's wanting to make sure that pensions were in a healthy state for retirement. Also recently widowed and had a lump sum for investment, for retirement but also for inheritance for children

How has Tom Saleh helped you?

Tom looked at existing pensions and advised on best way to treat those. Also looked at future pension planning to best utilise the existing pensions. Set up investment for lump sum with appropriate levels of risk and return.

Use FBR as my Accountant so already had good working relationship. I needed help with bringing together several pension pots and managing SIPP on long term drawdown basis, so FBM seemed like a good place to start. Tom has a good pair of listening ears and confirming or otherwise my financial strategy and actions without any heavy sell, and thus providing me with reassurance during periods of market uncertainty.

Advice on direction of investments once our attitudes to risk had been established followed by further risk assessment tests to ensure our wishes, plans, expectations, etc., could be maintained/changed, etc.
