Brian maintains an annual review which is very helpful as the markets are volatile in these changing political times. During this to err on the side of caution he assisted me with a decision essential in recouping certain funds in a couple of years' time. This process is underway at the time a review was requested. My pension provider Royal London were unable to move my pension to their own drawdown scheme unless I took the professional advice from an approved and regulated Financial Adviser. I searched for a local FA and had a telephone conversation with Brian Flindall. I was impressed with the way our telephone conversation had gone and decided that Brian was the right person to trust with my pension advice.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was looking for advice with moving a pension scheme from where it was to somewhere that gave me the ability to access it with a draw down facility. After going through various options with Brian, I decided to choose an equity release scheme and leave my pension scheme where it was. Brian helped me get the best scheme available - I knew very little about all this to be honest but Brian guided me through it all & explained it every step of the way.

As I mentioned earlier, I know very little about pension schemes & equity release schemes so Brian helped me with everything really.

I think I have got the best outcome - my pension scheme is better staying where it is & I have the money from my equity release scheme to enjoy my early retirement now.

I knew Brian as a friend before asking him to advise me, as once I knew I could rely on him in many other ways, as a friend and close family I knew I would see great results with my finances, excellent and dependable with advice.
