Michael provided the information of what I required. With guidance/explanation re the written professional language in the paper work, I was able to make an informed choice. I am provided with regular up dates as to how my pension is performing & have a face to face meeting at least once a year.

Yes, but even in a medium risk account one has to acknowledge that there may be "dips" as well as "rises" depending on the world markets

Michael was thorough and clear and answered many questions. We had a slightly more complex switch due to a sub account which would incur a charge. Michael was able to provide details of a range of products which would enable us to pay off the sub account and switch to a single mortgage with a better rate, whilst still being viable. He was always available over the phone or via email and extremely punctual, maintain the deadlines we set in the initial meeting

Michael relieved the stress from searching for the best mortgage for my needs, he understood that I worked shifts and had caring responsibilities, because of this he often contacted me outside of office hours which was very much appreciated. Michael even stayed in touch once his work was done to ensure that the mortgage did not time out as the house sale was complicated due to probate and covid. The time saved by Michael doing all the searching for me was far more valuable to me making his fees extremely good value for money.

Michael Hogg was recommended to us by our IFA to assist us with an Application for Equity Release on our Home. Within the first five minutes we felt that Michael had an understanding of our situations and our reasoning. He guided us through the whole process advising us of any potential pitfalls and/or concerns while providing us with the benefits on an equal scale. Throughout the whole process we felt that Michael had made a true and correct assessment of needs and his submission on our behalf was exemplary. The proof of the pudding - as they say - is in the eating and our draw down from our property arrived in our bank account this morning. We felt safe and assured with Michael by our side and will always be grateful for his professional attitude and very kind support throughout.

Michael provided up to date information and guidance in bringing the 2 together in order to transfer them to a Pension Provider which would be suitable for me.

I would not have expected to receive a report on how the investment is progressing as it is less than a year since it was arranged, so probably it may be premature to comment without sight of any performance results.

I had a previous personal pension that was not suitable for my general requirements together with separate policies from previous employers. I wanted to look for a new pension scheme and some advice about what to do, if anything with the other policies. Subsequently, since buying a house he has helped put in place insurance and life assurance policies for my husband and me.
